Candlelight Christmas Eve Service
December 24, 2018
With illuminaries lighting the way, Pastor Ken Ahntholz officiated the 5:30 p.m. Christmas Eve Candlelight worship service at St. Andrew's. Over 60 worshippers began the celebration of Christ's birth by singing the hymn "O Come, All Ye Faithful". Prayers were offered and scripture was read before the youth presented their Christmas pageant. After the pageant, Stuart and Julie Zurcher sang "O Holy Night" before the Service of Candlelighting began. As acolytes Samuel and Leah Philby proceeded down the center aisle lighting worshippers' candles, the lights dimmed, prayers were offered and the Hymn of Light, "Silent Night", was sung. A special thank you to organ accompanist, Lois Ahntholz.
