Good-bye Pastor Ken
On Sunday afternoon, January 27th from 2:00-4:00, Holy Trinity Lutheran in Newton hosted a retirement open house for Pastor Ken and Lois. Pastor Ken's retirement is effective January 31.
In addition to congregational members from Holy Trinity and St. Andrew's, family, friends, and area clergy gathered to thank Pastor Ken and Lois for their years of service. Their daughter, Julie, came from Clear Lake to join in the celebration.
Pastor Ken has been pastor at Holy Trinity for nine years and pastor at St. Andrew's for three. Lois has served as administrative assistant and accompanist for both churches during those same time periods.

Pastor Ken's Retirement
Pastor Ahntholz has decided to retire effective January 31, 2019. Pastor Ken has been pastor at St. Andrew's for the past three years. In appreciation, on January 20th as part of the annual meeting/potluck, the congregation presented Pastor Ken and Lois with a gift card to Johnny's Italian Steak House and a photo book capturing moments from their three years of ministry at St. Andrew's. Thank you, Pastor Ken and Lois! You will be missed.
On February 1st, Pastor Kari Lee will begin her ministry at St. Andrew's.
