"First Sunday" Sunday School

Change is coming to St. Andrew’s Sunday school fall schedule. Beginning Sept. 7th, Sunday school will meet on the first Sunday of every month rather than weekly. Although a difficult decision, it at least allows St. Andrew's to continue to offer Sunday school in spite of the limited availability of teachers and lower student numbers.

Sunday school class for elementary-aged, pre-confirmation students will continue to meet during sermon time on the following Sundays: Sept. 7, Oct. 5, Nov. 2, Dec. 7, Jan. 4, Feb. 1, Mar. 1, May 3. There will be NO Sunday school April 5 which is Easter. If you are a parent of a Sunday school-aged student, please mark your calendar with these dates.

This change does not affect confirmation classes or youth group activities, and Pastor Kari will continue to include a children’s sermon during each weekly Sunday worship service. If you have questions, please contact Pastor Kari or Norene Paulson.

To gather with God's people in united adoration of the Father is as necessary to the Christian life as prayer.

"Small but Mighty"
St. Andrew's is a member of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America). First established in 1870, St. Andrew's has been ministering to generations of area families for over 150 years. Although a small, rural church, we are "Mighty in Mission." Just as Martin Luther wrote, "Faith is a living, creative, active, powerful thing," so is St. Andrew's a living, creative, active, powerful faith family.
