Pastor Kari Lee's Installation
 On Sunday, March 17, Pastor Kari Lee was installed as pastor of St. Andrew's during the 9:00 worship service. Pastor Paul Ostrem, Assistant to the Bishop, SE Iowa ELCA Synod presided over the installation. 

Pastor Kari Lee's Ordination

Kari Lee, new pastor of Holy Trinity and St. Andrew's, was ordained on Sunday, February 17 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Grinnell where Pastor Lee served as an intern for the past year. The ordination service is a simple rite where an individual's call into the pastoral office is publicly affirmed. It is a ceremony that affirms that this person has been set apart by God, who works through His church, to serve in the role of pastor. Representatives of both Holy Trinity and St. Andrew's shared in the service. Pastor Ken shared a passage from I Corinthians 11 as part of the service. Maiken Lee, Pastor Kari and Logan Lee's younger daughter, was also baptized as part of the service.
