Salvation Army Bell Ringing Service Project
On Saturday, November 17, St. Andrew's youth group, the Christian Crusaders, spent several hours at the Newton Hy-Vee store ringing the Salvation Army bell. In addition to accepting monetary donations, the youth also entertained shoppers by singing Christmas carols and handing out "blessing bags".
